Is it possible to build muscle mass by just doing cardio, like running every day??

I'm so despearte on building muscle mass, probably due to the fact that I am a vegetarian, I can not get a muscle after doing months of weight lifting …. i am .. Any person so depressed I can illuminate, the qn?

Cardio burns calories you actually need to build mass. If you want to build mass then you have to create a caloric surplus to get enough protein. For example, if you weigh 150 then you need to consume about 3600 calories on the days and nonworkout 4200 calories on training days. (Search online bodybuilding calculator). Also you should take in about 1.5 to 2 g of protein per kilo of of body weight per day. Since you are a vegetarian, it will be difficult to get all the protein needed for building mass, so that's up to you. When it comes to lifting weights has to go heavy with compound exercises like bench press, squat, dead lift, bent over rows are above Press and Pullups the best. You want to stick with 3-5 sets of 4-6 repetitions. Pick a weight that is heavy enough so that you can only do 5-6 reps per set. Rest 2-3 minutes between sets. Sample routine (one im doing) Monday: Squat 5×5 5×5 5×5 bench press bent over row cosmetic surgery knee Swiss balls 3×8 Wednesday: top Press 5×5 Deadlift 3×8 5×5 external rotations Russian twists 3×8 Friday: Squats 5×5 5×5 weighted pullup leg raises seated cable rows 3×8 3×8 remember that you choose a weight that allows or for only the specified number of repetitions for each set. Thus, 5 representatives of the calls for a heavyweight, 8 is a little lighter. *** Check the source below it really gives you a much better understanding.
